Softball Recap: Warden Takes a Loss

Warden came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Adna Pirates, falling 14-2. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Warden's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Adna, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Warden and Adna will both be playing Royal the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
