Baseball Recap: Walker Victorious

Walker won against Zachary on Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Madison Central Jaguars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Walker's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Madison Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walker will venture away from home to challenge Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Mavericks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Madison Central, they will head out to face off against Florence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
