 The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies will head out on the road to  face off against  the Buckeye Valley Barons at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Monday, Johnstown-Monroe had just enough and edged River Valley out  5-4. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Johnstown-Monroe.
  Nash Andrix spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four  runs (all of which were unearned)  on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Anthony Zirille and  Erik Marohl did most of the damage at the plate:  Zirille  scored a  run while going 3-for-4, while  Marohl  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season  on Friday. They blew past Hayes 7-0. The  victory was familiar territory for Buckeye Valley who now have three in a row.
 Johnstown-Monroe's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 9-17. As for Buckeye Valley, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with that  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home.
 Johnstown-Monroe couldn't quite finish off Buckeye Valley in their previous meeting  back in May of 2022 and fell  6-4. Can Johnstown-Monroe avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
