Baseball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Gonzaga Prep Bullpups

For the second straight game, Ridgeline will face off against Gonzaga Prep. The Falcons will welcome the Bullpups at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeline is on a three-game streak of home wins, Gonzaga Prep an eight-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.

Ridgeline is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Gonzaga Prep just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bullpups by a score of 4-3.

For Gonzaga Prep's part, Anthony Karis was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Briggs Beaudoin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gonzaga Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Ridgeline, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
