Basketball Recap: Christiansburg Takes a Loss

Christiansburg lost against Pulaski County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Christiansburg Blue Demons were outmatched by the Pulaski County Cougars and fell 67-35. The Blue Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christiansburg now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pulaski County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Coming up, Christiansburg will face off against Carroll County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski County, they will challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pulaski County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.
