When it comes to explaining why Scales Mound lost, one person who can't be blamed is Thomas Hereau. Despite the final result, he scored 32 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hereau has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Duerr, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Scales Mound's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Pecatonica, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
