Football Game Preview: Woodbridge Barrons vs. Montgomery Cougars

Woodbridge has gone a perfect 3-0 against Montgomery recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Barrons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Woodbridge's defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so Montgomery's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Woodbridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over Rahway.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Joshua Allen and Andrew Avent. Allen had a great game and rushed for 109 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. Meanwhile, Avent did his best for the losing side, rushing for 129 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last game, Montgomery made sure to put some points up on the board against Westfield on Friday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 32-10 win. Considering the Cougars have won three matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Woodbridge's record is now 8-2. As for Montgomery, their record now sits at 7-3.
