The Stanton Blue Devils will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Ribault Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ribault took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stanton, who comes in off a win.
Stanton is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Parsons Christian Academy. Stanton was the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Parsons Christian Academy on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.
Leah Joseph made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.
