Texas Top 25 high school boys basketball rankings: No. 4 John Paul II wins 28th and 29th games

The Cardinals up their season scoring average to 81.2 with a pair of lopsided wins; No. 1 Duncanville extends win streak to 13.

John Paul II (Plano) won its 28th and 29th game last week, while upping its scoring average to 81.2, to move to No. 4 in the MaxPreps Texas boys basketball rankings.

The Cardinals defeated Prestonwood Christian (Plano) 81-48 before taking down Parish Episcopal (Dallas) 90-70 to improve to 29-1. They'll go for their 30th win when they travel to Bishop Lynch (Dallas) next week.

Meanwhile, the state's No. 1 team Duncanville (18-2) won its 12th and 13th straight last week before taking on a dangerous Richardson squad, which is ranked ninth in the state, on Tuesday.
