With a playoff game on the line, Taylor rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over the Pioneer Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Javionne Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 32 yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 14 total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Taylor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 76.7 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 177.8.

Taylor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Harris and Keyshawn Galloway. Harris also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Taylor is 4-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.

Taylor has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.2 points per game. As for Pioneer, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Taylor wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 70-6 loss against North Judson-San Pierre on the 15th. Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
