Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Has No Trouble Against Springville

Wasatch had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Springville on Tuesday. The Wasps blew past the Red Devils 3-0. The Wasps haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-12.

Wasatch can attribute much of their success to Annie Cook, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Cook a new career-high.

Cook wasn't the only good servers: Wasatch was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Wasps are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Wasatch's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Springville, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.
