Basketball Recap: Dorchester Academy Raiders vs. Patrick Henry Academy Patriots
The Dorchester Academy Raiders pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 70-55 fall against Patrick Henry Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dorchester Academy in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost eight in a row.
Patrick Henry Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rowen Croft, who scored 20 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Croft hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Forest Fairey, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Dorchester Academy now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
