Softball Recap: Southern Columbia Area Takes a Loss

Southern Columbia Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-4 to the Montoursville Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 on April 3rd.

Southern Columbia Area's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Montoursville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Columbia Area will square off against Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Montoursville, they will challenge Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
