Volleyball Recap: Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Takes a Loss

Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Imperials of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-12.

Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier, they pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter is set to challenge their familiar foe Strasburg/Zeeland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier will face off against rival Ellendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
