The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Cobb, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Talawanda was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.
Little Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Talawanda, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Little Miami hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Talawanda struggles in that department as they've averaged .413. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
