Volleyball Recap: Crofton Takes a Loss

Crofton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Battle Creek Braves. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Braves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Addyson Ostermeyer paced Crofton's offense, picking up four kills. Ostermeyer got some help from Emma Kuchta and her eight assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Battle Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Kuchar, who had four digs and two aces.

Crofton's record now sits at 6-10. As for Battle Creek, they moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Crofton will square off against Norfolk Catholic on Tuesday. As for Battle Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wisner-Pilger on the 25th.
