Basketball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester was the 49-41 winner over Valley Central when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chester Hambletonians received a blow on Monday as they fell 52-33 to the Valley Central Vikings. The Hambletonians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chester's record now sits at 2-7. As for Valley Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Chester has already played their next contest, a 65-20 win against Fallsburg on the 28th. As for Valley Central, they will challenge Minisink Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Minisink Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Valley Central surely won't give up without a fight.
