Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gregory-Portland Wildcats. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Arrian Spratt paced Marshall's offense, picking up three kills. Spratt got some help from Arianna Wright and her three assists.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Gregory-Portland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Marshall is on the road again on Saturday to play Devine at 11:00 a.m. As for Gregory-Portland, they will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon Lake at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday.
