Basketball Recap: Hico Takes a Loss

Hico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Poolville Monarchs, falling 57-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-20 back in December of 2024.

Hico's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Poolville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Hico will challenge Lipan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lipan has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matches. As for Poolville, they will host Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
