Baylee Grant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordynn Williams, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Rowlett is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14-1 record this season. North Garland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rowlett has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for North Garland, though, as they've been averaging 11.4 hits. Given Rowlett's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
Rowlett took their victory against North Garland in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
