Softball Recap: Teton Gets the Win

Teton proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 17) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Declo Hornets 11-10.

Kara Webster was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jimmi Williamson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Teton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

The victory got Teton back to even at 4-4. As for Declo, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Teton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-0 win against Buhl on the 5th. As for Declo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-9 defeat against South Fremont on the 5th.
