Soccer Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside lost to Lamar back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Wolves came up short against the Texans, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Westside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 511th, while Lamar are ranked 118th).

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Lamar, their record now sits at 8-2-6.

Looking ahead, Westside will welcome Bellaire at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will challenge Wisdom at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Wisdom will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lamar surely won't give up without a fight.
