Softball Game Preview: Glenn Rockets vs. Belleville Tigers

The Glenn Rockets will head out to square off against the Belleville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Glenn has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Glenn lost 19-3 to Salem on Monday. The Rockets have struggled against the Rocks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Glenn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylie Sansom, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Belleville entered their match against Canton on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers came up short against the Cobras, falling 15-2.

Belleville now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Glenn suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Belleville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
