Basketball Game Preview: Crofton Warriors vs. Pierce Bluejays

Crofton is on a three-game streak of home losses, Pierce an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Crofton Warriors will welcome the Pierce Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Crofton is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since January 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Wakefield by a score of 44-41. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 15-10 in the first quarter.

The losing side was boosted by Trevor Allen, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Panning, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, Pierce was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 48-44 to West Point-Beemer.

Crofton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Pierce, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
