On Tuesday, Liberty faced Mojave in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Liberty Patriots came out on top against the Mojave Rattlers by a score of 69-59. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on four straight.

Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen Parker, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 21 points and three steals. Dante Steward was another key player, going 9 for 19 en route to 22 points.

Liberty was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mojave only racked up 15 assists.

Despite the loss, Mojave still got an impressive performance from C.J. Shaw, who went 13 of 22 on his way to 29 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The contest was Shaw's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zacarrion Jackson, who posted six points and ten boards.

Liberty now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Mojave, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Liberty has already played their next game (against Coronado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mojave will square off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mojave knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 contests -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge.
