Basketball Recap: Lecanto Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Lecanto won the last time they faced Citrus, and Bryleigh Florio did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lecanto Panthers blew past the Citrus Hurricanes, posting a 62-21 win thanks in part to Florio, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 31 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Lecanto has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.7 points. As for Citrus, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lecanto will welcome Springstead at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Citrus, they will square off against Nature Coast Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
