Wapsie Valley won the last time they faced East Buchanan and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Buccaneers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Wapsie Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for East Buchanan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Wapsie Valley has already played their next match, a 14-0 victory against Clayton-Ridge on the 7th. As for East Buchanan, they will face off against Springville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
