Baseball Game Preview: Knight Hawks vs. Lancaster Eagles

The Knight Hawks will challenge the Lancaster Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Quartz Hill hit Knight with a four-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks lost 8-1 to the Royals. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lancaster ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over Trinity Classical Academy. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Knight's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Lancaster, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Everything went Knight's way against Lancaster in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Knight made off with an 8-2 win. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
