Baseball Recap: Kenwood Takes a Loss

Kenwood lost against Eastern Tech back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bluebirds came up short against the Mavericks, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Bluebirds' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kenwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Boblitz, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Kenwood dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastern Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Kenwood and Eastern Tech will both be playing Perry Hall Christian the next time they take the field. The Bluebirds will host Perry Hall Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, while the Mavericks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
