Basketball Recap: Goffstown Comes Up Short

Goffstown was the 50-49 winner over Alvirne when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Goffstown Grizzlies fell just short of the Alvirne Broncos by a score of 51-49 on Monday.

Goffstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alvirne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goffstown will take on Salem in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alvirne and Keene will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
