Soccer Game Preview: Woodland vs. Dixon

Woodland is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will face off against the Dixon Rams at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodland barely beat Wood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Wolves never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Woodland needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Giancarlo Preciado and Johan Olmedo scored all four of Woodland's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Dixon's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Wood 1-0. Dixon haven't had any issues with Wood recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Dixon back to even at 1-1. As for Woodland, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Woodland suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Dixon in their previous meeting back in February. Can Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
