Volleyball Recap: Therrell Comes Up Short

Therrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kendrick Cherokees.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

Therrell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kendrick, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Therrell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Atlanta at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Kendrick, they will take on Calhoun County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
