Volleyball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

Hesperia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shelby Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on Saturday.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Shelby, their victory bumped their record up to 16-20.

Hesperia has already played their next match (against Central Montcalm), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shelby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Oakridge on the 28th.
