Salida entered their tilt with Woodland Park on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Salida was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Salida had a senior duo take command as Cooper Fisher had 26 digs and one assist and Kaylee Johnson had eight digs and four aces. Johnson has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Salida's record now sits at 11-6. As for Woodland Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Salida will take on rival St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodland Park is set to face off against their familiar foe Ellicott at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
