Softball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Master's Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Westwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henryunia Plain, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Plain also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Westwood's record is now 0-11. As for Master's Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Westwood will challenge Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Master's Academy, they will square off against Southwest Florida Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
