Volleyball Recap: Pittsfield Comes Up Short

Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mounties this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pittsfield is set to take on their familiar foe Taconic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mount Greylock Regional will square off against rival Wahconah Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
