            Softball Recap: Franklin Yellowjackets vs. McNair Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Franklin extended their losing streak  to 11  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-12 in the process. They came up short against  the McNair Eagles, falling  8-2. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, the Yellowjackets couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for McNair,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at seven games  and leaves them with a 6-11 record. They not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 1st (when they won  12-6).
 For McNair's part,  Emerald Gerardo was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Gerardo has posted since back in March.  Naohmi Tapia was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will head out to  square off against Stagg  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will need to watch out since the Delta Kings have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four games. As for McNair, they will venture away from home to  face off against Weston Ranch  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.56  runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
