Hayfield is 8-1 against Falls Church since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will challenge the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hayfield has four straight wins, Falls Church has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Hayfield came out on top against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Hawks blew past the Colonials 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Falls Church couldn't beat Edison on Thursday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the fifth inning. The Jaguars lost 20-7 to the Eagles.

Hayfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Falls Church, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Hayfield's way against Falls Church in their previous matchup back in April, as Hayfield made off with a 15-5 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
