Basketball Recap: Big Spring Comes Up Short

After flying high against Schuylkill Valley last Thursday, Big Spring came back down to earth. The Big Spring Bulldogs took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern York Golden Knights. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 55-50 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Big Spring's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Eastern York, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Big Spring will challenge Susquehanna Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Big Spring knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Susquehanna Township likes a good challenge. As for Eastern York, they will square off against Berks Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
