Soccer Recap: Waverly Comes Up Short

Waverly saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to the Fairland Dragons. Waverly were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 8-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Emiliee Secrest, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Waverly and nudges their season record down to 2-14. As for Fairland, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-2.

As of now, neither Waverly nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
