Fairland had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Dawson-Bryant Hornets 3-0. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Fairland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Dawson-Bryant between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fairland is set to challenge their familiar foe Gallia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dawson-Bryant will face off against rival Ironton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
