Volleyball Recap: Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy entered their contest against Christian Liberty on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Huskies fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Trinity Oaks Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-22.

Madison Wager paced Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wager got some help from Aubrey Hansen and her 21 assists. Wager also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reagan Horstman, racking up four apiece.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Christian Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on South Beloit at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Liberty, they will head out to square off against Christian Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
