After a string of nine wins, Latta's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the South Florence Bruins. The shutout was out of character for the Vikings seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.

Hailey McManus had a dynamite game For South Florence., getting six digs and four aces. What's more, McManus racked up 27 assists, the most she's had over her last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Baylor Gregg, who had six digs and three aces.

Latta's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for South Florence, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-12-1.

Coming up, Latta will square off against Hemingway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Florence, they will take on Darlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
