Soccer Recap: Morrilton Comes Up Short

Morrilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Gentry Pioneers, falling 6-0. If Morrilton were looking for revenge after losing 1-1 to Gentry when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morrilton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Gentry, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Morrilton will square off against rival Prairie Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gentry is set to challenge their familiar foe Huntsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
