Tunkhannock came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Mid Valley Spartans get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Tunkhannock's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Mid Valley are ranked 320th).

Tunkhannock's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Mid Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

As of now, neither Tunkhannock nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
