Tunkhannock came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mid Valley Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in August.

Caden Newswanger and Martin Martin scored both of Tunkhannock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 46 goals.

Tunkhannock's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Mid Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Tunkhannock didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Riverside on the 28th. Mid Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
