Soccer Game Preview: Utica Ford vs. Utica Eisenhower

Utica Ford is 1-8-1 against Utica Eisenhower since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Falcons will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Utica Ford turned things around against L'Anse Creuse North on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Crusaders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Utica Eisenhower entered their tilt with Anchor Bay on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tars a 5-0 shutout. Considering Utica Eisenhower have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Utica Eisenhower's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. Utica Ford's draw gives them a new season record of 1-8-3.
