Softball Recap: Bristol Central Comes Up Short

Bristol Central suffered their biggest defeat since April 4th on Thursday. They came up short against the Hand Tigers, falling 12-5. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bristol Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Hand, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol Central will take on Granby Memorial at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season. As for Hand, they will challenge Hamden at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
