Basketball Recap: Marcus Goss Jr. Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Altamonte Christian lost to Lake Mary back in January of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Altamonte Christian Eagles walked away with a 53-46 win over the Lake Mary Rams.

Altamonte Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Goss Jr., who posted 12 points. Goss Jr. is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Almeda, who had 12 points.

Despite the loss, Lake Mary still got an impressive performance from Owen Ceynowa, who went 6 of 14 to rack up 17 points and seven steals. That's the most steals Ceynowa has posted since back in November of 2024. Jayden Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Altamonte Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Lake Mary, they now have a losing record at 12-13.
