Basketball Game Preview: Leggett Pirates vs. Hull-Daisetta Bobcats

Leggett hasn't had much luck against Hull-Daisetta recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leggett Pirates will take on the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Two weeks ago, Leggett came up short against Chester and fell 45-37.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hull-Daisetta took on Wheatley on Saturday. Hull-Daisetta took a blow against Wheatley, falling 70-31. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1459th, while the Wildcats are ranked 513th).

Leggett's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Hull-Daisetta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Leggett was able to grind out a solid victory over Hull-Daisetta in their previous meeting on December 12th, winning 47-38. Will Leggett repeat their success, or does Hull-Daisetta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
